From Sunday the 6th of August to Friday the 11th of August 2017, Arts and Society was taking part of to the World Conference of Humanities in Liège (WHC), Belgium.
For this Occasion, Camille Piazzo, a Videographer, composed for Arts and Society this video composition that gathers a range of images and words from the 153 projects that we have received, following a call for participationMemory of the Future launched with UNESCO-Most, CIPSH and IYGU, starting from September 2016.The 153 artists and projects leaders are springing from 4 corners of the world, presenting about 100 countries, dialects and societies.
The video is accompanied by an immersive soundtrack composed by the artist Brigande.
This video was defused constantly, during the World Conference of Humanities, aside to all of the 153 videos of 1min30, demonstrating the impacts of the Arts and Creativity in society, via the 153 projects, at the in Salle Philo II, at the University of Liège place of XX.The video was also broadcasted during the opening ceremonies, as at the TV5 screens and their FB, and on the platform of the WHC.
The World Conference of Humanities is organized by CIPSH –Pro. Luiz Osteenberk, Unesco-most –Dr. John Crowley and the Province of Liège, which we thank for, for this exceptional week full of fundamental initiatives and reflections on the essential values of the diversities and pluralism that makes up humanities and the planet.
